The Rev. Dr. Emory Berry, Jr. is described by many as innovative, daring, astute,  compassionate, humble, and inspiring. In April 2022, he became the Lead Pastor/Founder of  The Favor Church of Atlanta. The Favor Church of Atlanta www.TheFavorChurch.org serves as  a multifaceted Kingdom minded church who reaches multiple communities, counties,  countries, and cultures for Christ. In addition, Dr. Berry is the organizer of the Morning Manna prayer call which reaches prayer warriors all over the nation and in several Caribbean  islands.  He also served as an impactful Senior Pastor of churches in Richmond, VA and Decatur, GA. Dr. Berry www.EmoryBerryJr.com received his Bachelor of Science degree from the  University of Florida, Master of Divinity degree from Emory University’s Candler School of  Theology, and his Doctor of Ministry degree from Virginia Union University’s Samuel D. Proctor  School of Theology. Currently, Dr. Berry is working on his PhD in Leadership at Anderson University. Rev. Berry completed post-graduate studies and received leadership certifications from  Harvard University, Princeton Theological Seminary, Howard University, Wake Forest University, Yale Divinity School, Auburn Theological Seminary, DeVos Urban Leadership  Initiative, and Baylor University’s George W. Truett Theological Seminary. In March 2017, Dr.  Berry was inducted into the prestigious Dr. Martin Luther King International Board of Preachers  at Morehouse College. Dr. Berry serves on the faculty of Emory University’s Candler School of Theology, Beulah  Heights University, and Palm Beach Atlantic University as an adjunct professor. He serves on  several national, statewide, and local leadership boards which include the IC3 Leadership  Conference and the alumni board of Emory University’s Candler School of Theology. He has  received countless awards, recognitions, articles, and news coverage for his community  advocacy. Additionally, Dr. Berry is a sought-after preacher, teacher, and facilitator. Dr. Berry is the proud author of six books, Marriage That Matters, Facts About Favor,  Marriage That Matters II, Your Preaching Matters, Church Planting, and Thrive. He is also the CEO of Elevate Press LLC www.ElevatePress.org Book Publishing. Most importantly, Dr. Berry  is the proud husband of the lovely Dr. Julie A. Berry. Mrs. Berry is an accomplished educator,  impactful school administrator, and contributing author of the book Strength and Dignity. Together, Drs. Berry have been blessed with two delightful children, a son Emory and a  daughter Jaiden.
